Overview

Course Approval's goal is to co-construct (with you) powerful database solutions using the best data management services possible! We do not sell or mine your data or share it for any reason.

We collect the bare minimum of personal data necessary to create databases and administer accounts.

The data collected through the applications we build for you and the entries you collect using the application are yours alone.

How We Use Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of Software Administrators
We use personal information to provide login services, not to mine or sell data.

We use the following personal information to provide services to you and to communicate with you:

  • We may see your first and last name when you log in and when other users of your organization interact with your application.

  • We use an email address as your username when you log in. We also use your email address to send notification emails from courseapproval.com.

  • We may use your organization name throughout Course Approval (e.g., your domain as a subdomain to courseapproval.com) so that you and your clients know which organization you/they are interacting with.

  • We use your password solely to verify access to your account. We do not store your actual password, just an undecipherable representation (encrypted hash).

  • We may use your profile image to help you know you are logged into your account, by showing this image while logged in, and to identify you to other members of your organization.

  • We use your IP address to personalize applications based on where you are located and to help prevent fraud or abuse of our service.

  • We use your billing information solely to communicate with you about your paid subscription and charge your credit card for services. Course Approval does not capture, process, store or transmit credit card information. Stripe, a third-party PCI compliant payment processor, handles all interactions with credit card information on our behalf.
